Drive-in Racking, be called corridor-style Rack, is one of intensive structure racks. At the direction from the bottom to the top of drive in rack it is fixed as one combination by decussate steel braces.  And in the depth direction it's combined by steel pallet shelves, cantilevers and upright frames.


This drive in racking usually use front-wheeled forklift or counterweight battery forklift. When picking and stransfering pallet cargo forklifts should go through the main channel into the storage paths.

It has single storage unit on each storage path of one column.

The largest number of storage unit on each path should be ten pallet units, general weight for each pallet should be within 1500kgs and total height of materials and pallet would be below 2000mm.

Drive in Racking features good utilization of floor space and storage space, almost twice performance than common beam pallet racks. It's realized to be the optimum storage system for storing the goods that features small variety but large numbers, such as food, chemical, textile, beverage and cold storage condition with high cost. The drive in racking system reduces the unit cost as its high density storage performance.

Comparatively speaking, the structure of drive in rack is not stable as same as other types rack system due to without any braces in the storage paths. Better to build this kind rack with height within 10m and each pallet does not load too heavy.
